Tour de France winners Bob Froome and Friend Bradley Wiggins have been named in Excellent Britain’s longlist squad for September’s Road World Championships.

Froome,
the actual 2013 Tour winner, will certainly lead the men’s top notch road team whilst Wiggins is confirmed for the duration of demo, the event by which he earned Olympic precious metal.

Jr . world champion Lucy Get and Lizzie Armitstead have been confirmed for the women’s road race whilst Emma Pooley, a global champion in 2010, is placed to ride within the time demo.

Wiggins and sprinter Mark Cavendish are also named among the list of 11 for the men’s street race, which is reduced to eight for the competitors beginning on 22 Sept in Toscana, Italy.

It will likely be the very first time Wiggins and Froome have competed with each other in the same team since the
Tour of Oman in Feb.
